Problem & Value Proposition: Savorly is a mobile app that connects college students with surplus food from their favorite restaurants nearby their campus at affordable prices. By addressing the unique challenges students face around food access and affordability, we work to combat food insecurity while helping restaurants reduce waste, increase revenue, and strengthen their social impact within the campus community.

Regenerative Approach: We recognize that food waste and food insecurity are two sides of the same coin. We aim to redistribute the massive amount of waste that restaurants in the United States produce every year to students who need it most in a way that prioritizes health, affordability, and convenience.

Startup Journey: We are currently developing our app for use by Berkeley students and have plans to launch in March of 2026. In the meantime, we are engaging in promotional initiatives with student organizations here at Berkeley, planning fundraisers, and promoting our app via Instagram.

Transformation: The single most transformative moment from ReGenVen was being able to present our final pitch during the last class. It was amazing to see all our hard work from workshopping over the past three months come together in a single presentation.
